Hey guys not been on here for a long old while.

Had a Malaguti phantom, Gilera DNA and Piaggio NRG - finally brought a cg125 so I can get use to gears And do my test.

With all the recet wet weather I've found, that even with throw up the bottom half of my legs are soaked.

So can you get a front cg leg shield to stop this?

This is why people wear waterproof boots and trousers on proper motorbikes.

might be able to modify this to fit

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Front-Legshields-Honda-C50-1975-80-Rectangle-Air-Filter-New-/130718018057?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item1e6f66aa09#ht_698wt_1029

or make your own with a pair of engine bars and perpex sheeting, heat up slowly and bend to shape

The Motorcycle Action Group campaigned years ago to abolish plans the government had to make leg shields mandatory on motorbikes.. Very Happy

Waterproof troos over your boots will keep your wee legs dry and all cozy.
If you can stretch to it buy dedicated motorcycle trousers made from 'breathable' fabric. They should be fitted with CE armour too.

U-clamp round the front frame tube, flat bar running horizontally and curved slightly backwards, then rivet or bolt on any random pieces of metal or thick plastic that you can find. Ghetto stylin'.

Didn't someone on here make some leg shields using crash bars and some plastic dustbin lids?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

You know I'm looking at the mounting holes for my belly pan now and thinking "longer bolts, that bit of flat bar behind the garage door..." Thinking

Might have a rake through the skip outside the office tonight and see if anything looks appropriately wind and waterproof. Wink

Fencing wire is much better than gaffer tape. But not that high tensile stuff. It's a bastirt to get a knot in that stuff.
