2nd time lucky, 3 minors, surprised that I was allowed to do it on my RS! Excellent, I can finally get round to doing some track days (next year methinks)

i passed my STT earlier in the summer, on a suzuki GX125 (with shot steering bearings). and got one minor on pulling away control.

but i did also get a speeding fine going to my bike shop to pick up the suzie Evil or Very Mad (stupid 40MPH speed cameras)

Hehe, yeah it does have the turning circle of an oil tanker, but I managed it because the test route had a wider than normal residential road, wide enough to accomodate an RS (Ebrington Avenue, Solihull), so I was quite lucky really.
I didn't even have to prove it was restricted, which I had to do the very first time I took my test - I couldn't prove it was, and as a result, lost my fee and wasn't allowed to take it. But this time, it was a different examiner, and luckily this one didn't care!!

Anyhoo, can you give me a run down of what the guy got you to do, things like what kinda roads you took, manouvres, length of time, any bad situations pop up and what did you do about them?

also, the special questions they're suppposed to ask, about the bike and maintenance.

cheers dude, and have fun riding Very Happy

Hmm, never heard it called that before, only the A2 test. That's what I passed today anyway.

Well done mate!

Also never heard it called the STT either. Is this one of those things that has quietly passed me by?? (there are quite a few!! Laughing)
