was considering getting a pit bike to commute mostly 30mph roads but one commute is a single junction on the m5 which could be avoided with a-roads i don't have to take anything but myself to and from these place's so seems a really cheap alternative?

anyone commuted on a pit bike or has owned several that could give advice?

Thumbs Up

Johan have you thought about a 250 or something a bit more powerfull and a bit bigger so you don't get bullied on motorways, just a thought Johan.

I know basically nothing so this is a stab in the dark but wouldn't something like this be better (add indicators etc for road use).

I commuted from Maidstone to Rainham, about... 8 miles I suppose on a 118cc pitbike.

It loses its novelty fast.

The question which immediately leaps to my mind is, why? There are cheap 125s and 250s (and even 90s) aplenty which are designed to be ridden by an adult size person. Is there some reason, apart from the commute, why you'd want a pitbike?
