My leather jacket has started to get a bit wrinkly. It's only about 4 months old. I read a lot about people treating their leathers but never really felt the need to until now.

Is there any treatment that will make it look less wrinkled and more like new?

Yeah I used the spray-on Nikwax on my textile jacket and made it look like new.

They were once on a living thing. Expect them to wrinkle.

Pack of 99p babywipes.
Your choice of leather treatment. Some use boot polish. Confused I prefer some stuff my good lady uses on her horse tack. Flexalan. A small bit on a rag and rub it in. The 1ltr tin will last years and years.
I spruce my leathers up before winter and whenever I get caught out...sprayed in roadsalt etc.

I've used muc-off leather wipes a few times. Don't bother with them. They're pretty shite. I just use a damp cloth now.

Yes. Last night I took them out to dinner and 3 weeks ago we went to Alton Towers.

I use ledergris.

This will do it a lot of good in terms of keeping it flexible and help waterproof it but will not help make it clean and tarty. It will in fact make it greasy and prone to having muck stuck to it but it's undoubtedly the best stuff to put on leathers.

Lanolised saddle soap would probably be the best thing for what you want. It'll clean and feed the leather.

Personally feel that the greying of leather and the wrinkles add to its character and shown that they are actually used instead of being hung up and used on the odd day.

So nope don't treat it with anything.

I have been treating my leathers with Neatsfoot oil for many years after a girlfriend suggested it for all of my leather bike gear

(ignore the referance to furniture)

I use Lord Sheraton leather wipes to get bugs n crap off and about once or twice a year I spray with Putoline leather protection spray, which keeps them really supple.

Same, or the Mr Sheen leather wipes that you get in the supermarket - nice and cheap and dont make the leather go all shiny (I like the matt finish).

So that's one vote for everything under the sun, and two votes each for Nikwax and Ledergris...

I've got some kind of waterproofing Nikwax stuff somewhere, would that be any good? Bet it'll say it's not for leather when I pull it out, but eh.

Oddly enough I also bought some "leather care" wipes from Aldi last night, seeing as they had them there on clearance for about a quid. Might see how those do. At least the procedure is likely to be simple, i.e. "wipe it over all nice".

Cuz I have no idea what to do with mine otherwise. Presumably you don't put the gear into the washing machine with the Nikwax/etc in a dosing ball? Would you have to grab a shoeshine brush / sponge and rub it in that way?

(Mine are starting to look a bit tatty after 2-3 years with no proper care, so figured it was time to do SOMETHING. Question is ... how the heck do you clean the fabric liner that mine have? It's almost certainly going to be getting a bit grungy by now...)

Nikwax

https://www.nikwax.com/en-gb/index.php

I'm not going to click all the buttons for you but all these product work.
CLean the leather using the cleaner then treat with waterproofing/conditioning product.

Sorted.

Other stuff I find is hard work Nikwax is fire & forget.

Wipe em down with warm slightly soapy water, let dry then apply boot polish. Allow polish to be absorbed then vigorously brush.

Keep any leather boots or clothes well polished and they should remain moderately waterproof.
