Just had a mega, (that's a real word here), thunder storm.
Not that much rain or thunder but 45 minutes of lightning strikes.
Constant lightning flashes, one every couple of seconds.
Unfortunately my, wee, dog is not best pleased, and has been trying, unsuccessfully, to hide in the 2 inch gap underneath the sofa.

This usually means the hot weather is over, for the time being, have to find my jeans and lose the shorts!

I remember when I lived in Cyprus as a kid, everyone got excited when the first storms of the season arrived as they were usually utter corkers which went on for a few hours and flooded the streets!

And as our classrooms were tin shacks, classes were normally "suspended" until the teacher could be heard again!

Just had a look on Google earth,you'll have fun with the traffic there, if you're driving!
If you want to meet up for a drink/meal I could bike it over on a weekend, thunderstorms excepted!
