Hello I am new to this forum just thought I'd say hello.
I have just bought a Yamaha YZF thundercat as my first bike.
Hope to come to some meets in the future.
I am up in newcastle, how do you post in the northeast section? it just says I am not allowed to post in there.

yeah got the thundercat as I'll be using it a fair bit.
will be around a fair bit appart from next saturday when I pick the bike up from the show room.....unless it's really chucking it down with rain..............well looks like I'll be on here all next saturday...lol.

To join the usergroup you go to Northern User Group page and then just click the join group button and you'll be a member of it once it's been approved by the moderator for that user group.

Yeah thats the one! mine is the deep red colour which was always in the mags.

I like all colours just so happened to be a lovely red one sitting in my closest dealership on saturday with only 8500 miles on the clock so I took it!
My brother has one which is black red and white which is a nice set of colours together.
well I have to be biased as I just bought it so Red rocks!!...lol

Oh just got a quote from the CIA web site for 446 pounds for the years insurance, I am 23 and no noclaims this good? Need to get it insured in time to pick it up on saturday.

Enjoy your stay. Your insurance quote seems pretty good, though as Ste said, you should be able to get it a fair bit lower if you ring around and use that as a comparative quote to the companies.
