 |
|
I have just got back from my second lesson and it was on a suzuki gladius this time first lesson was on a suzuki 500.
I started out on the suzuki 500 but it died on me so after the instructor bump started the bike we went back and got the gladius out wow did i enjoy this bike. The throttle and clutch are different to what i was used to but soon got used to it. The instructor took us onto the A19 and encouraged me to go to speed limit and wow 70mph it felt great this is the first time that i managed to go that fast but i felt confident and it really does make a difference to when i go on my 125 getting blown about with the wind
I shall be walking around all day with a smile on my face
Looking forward to my next lesson. |

Could I get your opinion on something Fem?
Hoping to pass my restricted licence in the next month or so, then plan to hop onto a restricted 600.
Would you recommend taking a DAS lesson to get used to the larger bike?
It's mainly the weight of the bike that worries me.
The Gladius looks awesome, very similar styling to the ER6, which is no bad thing.
Good to hear your enjoying yourself |

Hi Rogue_Shadow i have a honda 125 and it may seem strange but i found the gladius easier to handle than the 125. Personally i did'nt really find the weight an issue. Height was okay for me too i am 5ft 4" and found the height comfortable
Have a lesson on a bigger bike and you never know you may decide to do DAS instead of restricted licence |

Good to see that you have a great training school and decent bike to use
Are they fixing the 500? Chances are they'll stick you back on it ____________________ Current Bikes: ZX7r 97 (Black Beauty), VFR400 NC24 (The banana)

Yes Nick 50 they are fixing the 500 but i quite enjoyed that one too but i would rather go on the gladius hopefully i will be given a choice it could even be the bandit but that looked a bit high for me I think i surprised the instructor because some people seem to only want to go on one bike and not try any of the others. Got 2 lessons booked for next week 2nd one with an instructor i have not had so lets see what happens.
