Just browsing for general bolt on tat and saw this..

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HD-1080P-8MP-Waterproof-POV-3oz-Action-Camera-LCD-Built-In-8GB-Micro-SD-Card-/321001020978?pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_Video_Camcorders&hash=item4abd26de32&_uhb=1#ht_1805wt_1397

Obviously, one doubts its quality. But might stick a bid in and see what its like Thinking

I bought a cheap key ring camera from china which wasn't to bad. A little flimsy but one pays for what one gets really.

Check out www.techmoan.com. He has reviews of pretty much most of the Chinese cameras. Worth a look before you buy something that turns out to be rubbish.

I've just bought https://www.techmoan.com/blog/2012/7/5/a-1080p-wired-bullet-cam.html based on his review and the comments from other people.

Seller appears to have hidden their feedback totals. Plenty of neutrals and negatives in there though. Thinking

I just bought the cheapest MD80 clone I could find, tucked it into the chin lining, it's not fallen apart yet.

They're pretty robust.

Mine still kind of works after attacking it with a soldering iron trying to "improve" it.

I have one, and opened it up too. I think it would benefit from a longer ribbon to the camera unit, that way you could position better within the helmet and pin the board to the side, out of site.

Unfortunately it was all well beyond me!

Me too, which is why I was so surprised it still kind of worked after I butchered it. Laughing

Can't remember where it is for the life of me though... probably back at the parent's house.

Went for £51 in the end Shocked

Which, yknow, given the supposed spec, would still be reasonable if it actually hung together physically and electronically. 1080p, waterproof, built in mount, takes 32GB cards, all that.

Somehow I have a feeling it's about as reliable as the £10 ones though Very Happy
