I've been trying to find out the names of two tracks that I remember from around 1996 which used to play in nightclubs everywhere. Its not exactly early house, but it is 90's house, so people in this thread might remember...

They seemed to be two of three main tracks that were played constantly in nightclubs, the third being Armand Van Helden's remix of Professional Widow by Tori Amos.

One was a tune that sounded slightly disco-ey and the hook was pretty much all bass and the other's hook was a very high pitched stacatto beep type noise. Its hard to describe (obviously) but if anyone can remember anything like that, that would be awesome. For some reason I seem to associate them with 'ministry of sound'. Maybe they were all on a Ministry of sound compilation CD at the time.

No, but 1 out of 2 aint bad! Wink

Even higher pitched and even more staccato.

It went like this...

Bi bi bi V bi bi bi ^ bi bi V bi bi bi ^bi bi V bi ^ bi V bi

Where the V and the ^ represent change in pitch up or down...

Possibly this was out before Sandstorm.

Mario Piu - Communication

There was a similar sounding song that wasn't Higher State and came out before communication that I remember from raves @ Bowlers in Trafford Park back in 97. Just can't remember.. too much Pure Gold and Mandy.

This was a decent classic to
