Hi I recently put a post up about my AJS nac 125.

I was having difficulty running my bike, it seemed it only wanted to run on the reserve tank which obviously meaning me not getting very far. I had a few people make some good suggestions, so last night I went and brought new fuses and changed the fuse, this seemed to work. The bike was running on the normal tank and started first time, I made my short journey to work this morning but unfortunately on my way home, I broke down.... Again! My fuse had blown....
The bike had just come out the garage, costing a few hundred for repairs and servicing.

My question: has any one any ideas on how or what I have to do to stop the fuse blowing? The bike vibrates quite a lot.

Thanks
A very frustrated and disgruntled biker

reserve tanks nothing to do with your fuses . the fuel tap is just a manual lever if its only fueling in reserve its because you either have some crap stuck in it or you dont have enough fuel in the tank .

if you keep getting a blown fuse you will need to look for whatevers making the short which could be oh so many things . like we said in the other post check your connections . it could be anywhere on the loom.

first thing i would do is make sure u have a good earth . like we said in the other post

hi, a few years ago i had a kymco ck that had a similair issue to what your describing though not only did my fuse blow but all the bulbs! luckily the bike still got me to college.

i then had the same issue with a honda xr 125 and it really puzzled me because everytime i did something it worked again Confused (i think this was because the reg/rec had time to cool tricking me into believing i had fixed it )

i fixed both by replacing the regulator/rectifier but as the xr125 reg/rec costs near the 200 mark (new) i would recommend testing yours first.
