Yes i know it's not a bike but suck it up.
The missus passed her driving test on monday and today we picked up a £500 clio.
Has a few things that need doing but before i start doing them i need to know what model it is.
The mkI was made until 98 then the mkII appeared.
So, which one is it?
Clio RT 1.2 1998.

If you are going to enlarge an image like that, you really need to resample it before you do it.
Upsample, enlarge, then downsample to 72dpi for the web and crop the are you want to troll.
All in all, I'd give you a 7 for intention, but a poor 3 for execution.

Eh? |
Resampling is the mathematical technique used to create a new version of the
image with a different width and/or height in pixels. Increasing the size of an image
is called upsampling; reducing its size is called downsampling.
When images are upsampled, the number of pixels increases, but, with reference to
the original subject, new image detail cannot be created that was not already present
in the original image. As a result, images normally become softer the more they are
enlarged since the amount of information per pixel goes down.
When images are downsampled, information in the original image has to be discarded
to make the image smaller. Thus if you downsample and then upsample an
image, you will not get all the original image detail back. Downsampling a soft
image can make it appear sharper even though it contains less information than the original ____________________ GOOD GAME BODYGUARD: https://i.imgur.com/8WePGgf.jpg

Hate to say it but possibly trucking along to a Renault dealer with the VIN or Chassis number (or just the reg, as they can sometimes track from that) might be your best way of identifying the exact model and what will fit? They found the info pretty quickly when I made a curious-but-not-that-serious inquiry about having my turbo replaced.
I've found the brummie ones to not actually be as terribly shite as some dealerships can be, usually quite helpful. You'll likely end up back there at some point buying some esoteric failed part that only they stock anyhow, so best get familiar.
Maybe have your keys programmed there as a sign of goodwill, though don't forget that someone, at some point, paid them a hell of a lot of money to buy that car... |

This is a very helpful forum for all things Renault. Back when I was daft enough to buy French motors this site saved my bacon more than once...
