I want a seat hump so i can remove the base to use as a top box mount enabling me to clip on the box when needed so i can lose the rack that is currently fitted.

So I buy this badly resprayed one cheap since the top of it will be binned anyway. listing

Over 2 weeks later this arrives, just the plastic bit that I was going to be binning.

Was I wrong to expect it to be complete as per the photo below since all the others also list as 'srad seat hump' I don't expect anything that is not shown or listed but i've got a part of a part out of this.

Yeah it was cheap, if it came as a whole part.

As it is it's cost me over £7 for something i was going to be binning, makes it kind of expensive.

Well, you got everything that was shown in the listing. Would still have been a bargain if that's what you were actually looking for. Thinking

Kind of but if you bought a crash helmet and it arrived with no padding or strap would you accept that you got what was listed?

Just because padding wasn't shown. What I got was part product.

I would expect to receive a complete part. If it wasn't so very cheap I'd be lodging a complaint. Do it anyway - you'll probably get all your money back to spare a negative.

I would probs leave bad feedback for that. It doesn't say it isn't a fully useable item which is what i would expect from that auction.

Or wait till the next time you're doing a job in his area and chop it up and stick it through his letter box just for the fuck of it.

I don't really know who would it like that as i wouldn't have thought the full item would cost much more.

Uhm. Yeh?

If it's what he needed, what's the harm in making sure?

Most bikes come with the hump and a seat underneath. Not just a single unit.

Not Srad-onwards Gixers. It's hump or seat, they're separate units - the hump isn't just a cover for the seat.

It's actually not uncommon for seat humps to be provided without fixings and you to have to swap pillion ones etc - think that's how you'd often get them when bought new.

Not Suzukis that I have had. Humps and seats are quicly interchangeable. I would have expected the base as well.

Maybe when from Suzuki, but I think generally if you buy an aftermarket one, it would just be the shell you got with no fixings.
