hello all, well just after a quick idea of how much my 1998 zx7r p3 with 44k is worth.

tyres almost new, has harris rearsets painted black s/s exhaust system and 10month mot and tax, recent new w ring chain and talon sprockets brembo front brake m/c and brembo clutch m/s
starts 1st time pulls like a train

general paint is pretty good, last owner had a respray done which looks very good,
only bad bits i would say is there is paint missing on the frame in places and the fact its done a few miles

What you think its worth ? reason i ask is i want to get a thou for next year and dont know what i will be able to afford.

Cheers

Either go to eBay and look at 'completed listings' or autotrader and knock 10% off the prices of similar bikes.

About £1500-£1800 if in reasonable nick.

Err... intreguing... how would one do that then?
I cant find anything like, & putting "completed listings" in search bar just comes up with "Sorry no listings matched your search criteria"

Advanced search at the far right of the big search box next to the search button, completed listings only.

Thumbs Up

I reckon its worth about £1200. Less if that green stuff is covering damage.

I think £1500 would be very very top whack so about £1200 is reasonable. If it is in as good condition and needs as little doing as you say.

Can't see photos as they are blocked at work.

but I can't see how a 15 year old sports bike with 44k on the clock and non original paint is worth more than £800.

Odd though isn't it, your green bike there clearly has a black frame, but the frame dumball posted is clearly a grey frame, I honestly couldn't tell straight away that the rust picture was clearly off a different bike lol..

As for what I would pay, not a lot, it's green and Japanese. Thumbs Up

Since it's a ZX7R, probably too much.

End of the day I'm going to get what someone is willing to pay for it,

Will save some dosh so come new year I can sell this and buy a bigger newer bike,

To those who seem to like the photo of the green rust shite, would you like a bigger photo with more of the car in it so you can see the rust ?

I think people are put off with anything over 30k on a sportsbike (unfairly really) so I think £1500 is optimistic.

They seem to hold their value pretty well if you can get £1300 for a 98 bike with 45K mileage.
