Hi

Thought I'd introduce myself?

42 years old. Away from biking since 2006 when I had to sell my 600 Ninja to fund a new kitchen. Was a regular commuter and Sunday rider.

Have now developed the bug again and am waiting for a 99 carbed Blackbird to be delivered on Saturday?

Slightly reticent about the size of the thing, but have ridden a comparable ZZR1100 with no fuss?

Any advice i.e. linked braked, weight and handling of the thing?

Just watch the speed. The Blackbirds are well known for their license killing ability. They are deceptively fast. You'll be sitting at a sedate 70 on the motorway and look down and realize you've not been going 70 and are well into 3 figures.
