On the way home today, spotted the gritters out in force! I hope that's just them being over-cautious rather than them knowing something I don't!

Supposed to be taking my friend to pick up a bike tomorrow! Not a good time to be getting a new bike eh? ha.

Yeah it was cold today. I don't get cold on the bike but it's cold when not in bike gear in general!

It's going to take the piss to get warm again Evil or Very Mad

Had a bit of sleet here (Isle of Man) last night. Nothing too heavy to stick though.

Time to put the GSXR away soon then... shame, as we didn't have long together, though the times were fun.

Coming home from work I saw the roads here in Leeds are gritted, bone dry though for the time being.

The salt makes the road damp, ever seen the damp circles you get on pavements around grit crystals/blocks?

I think the gritting was a bit premature here in Northamptonshire, it's not that cold and the roads will probably be shit up until spring now. Fingers crossed it becomes more mild and we have some good rain to wash it all way Thumbs Up

I know, it's been really mild here all week, odd, really odd. Although today I did feel that I should have been wearing something warmer than my denim jacket.

No heating on in my room, and the thermometer reads 20 degrees. Can't be bad. Cool

That sucks man. I know how you feel though I got my new toy a bit too late on to properly enjoy it.

There will be loads of us who are caught up in Winter with our first big bikes. Thanks to everyone trying to get a licence before January.
If it's crap outside or I'm not 100% it stays under the cover, not worth the risk Smile

Hoping to make the transition from YBR to sv650s if only for a short while Twisted Evil
