Synthetic or Semi Synthetic

Hi all I have an RSV Mille that needs an oil and filter change. Do I use semi or fully synthetic oil?

Fully only in that mate.

If ist the first time you have done it make sure your careful as they are very easy to over fill being a dry sump.

If you ar unsure just ask and I will give you a step by step guide on it.

Yeah it's the first time I have done it on this bike. I have filled it up with semi before today, don't suppose it would have caused any damage. A guide would be nice cheers Kev.

You'll be ok, you haven't had it that long... Yeah get the best fully synthetic you can. Don't skank (price) on the oil. In fact get all the best service parts you can.

Dont be mixing a different brand/grade of top up oil with the main amount of oil in the future. Use the same brand oil and grade for top-up and service. Stick to one (good) brand/model of oil.

And make sure you have the right viscosity oil.

Nice machine, it needs the best.
