I have changed my insurance broker from Bennetts to Virgin and now I don't have puncture cover. As the bike is still under warranty I'm covered for breakdown. Can I just get puncture cover as a separate item from anybody.

cheers

Ian

Just get a can of emergency tyre sealant and carry it under your seat.

Yes you can get separate tyre insurance. Do a google and loads come up. Even the RAC do it

I have mine via infinity and cost was £49

Might as well bin it now, and use the space it frees up to store a good book, a packet of fags, and a rain poncho, all of which will be infinitely more use in the event of a puncture. Rolling Eyes

It lives on the shelf and if i ever go more than than couple of miles it gets strapped to a spare part of my bike. Sods law, that if i didn't have it, i WOULD get a puncture.

Why are thay soo bad? Are there any good ones?

I would love to know if there are any that work, that's why I asked. Holts should be sued for calling their product 'Tyre Weld', It must be contrary to the trade descriptions act. A more appropriate name would be:

'Fucking useless, expensive foam stuff, that will leave you stranded by the roadside, probably in the pissing rain, and will be a complete fucking nightmare to clean off your wheels/ swingarm/ undertray/ rear shock, when your recovery people finally get you home'

But I guess that hasn't got the same 'ring' to it, saleswise. Thumbs Down
