Gutted for Pedrosa, it was an uphill task to start with but to bin in so early must have been a killer!

Glad that Stoner won, I've not been his biggest fan - more to do with loyalty for Rossi than hatred of Stoner - but you cant fault him as a rider and he'll definitely be missed next year...

Roll on 2013, cant wait to see Rossi reunited with the M1, and looking forward to watching Iannone with some fairing bashing!

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chuffed for Jorge, a very well deserved title, be interesting to see how Rossi gets on playing second fiddle to him next year.
Dani choked and chucked it away .
Great result for Cal too.
As for Stoner, nice to see him get a result at his last home GP but cant say I will miss him

Indeed but in terms of resources and the like Jorge will be Yamaha's priority.
Be in no doubt Rossi is the perhaps the greatest GP rider of all time and what he did when he moved from the then all conquering Honda to Yamaha was a huge achievement. However that time Vale had Yamaha pulling out all the stops in terms of developing the bike, budget, pit crew and building the team around him for the sole purpose of him winning. This time that aint going to happen, Jorge is the champ and Yamaha will want to build on that.

If Rossi gets on with the bike though, Shocked we are in for a hell of season Very Happy

He has.

I see a 2013 of finishing behind Jorge, Dani and Cal.

Really? I will. He's not the most likeable of blokes but he's definitely one of the most talented, ever. Watching Stoner get a motorbike, especially one with issues, do what he wants and slide it about all over the place is something pretty special IMO.

As for next year, I worry about Cal. At the start of the season the satellite Yamaha was very similar to the factory one; the 2013 bike is unlikely to be the same and the Tech 3 bike may well be the poor relation. Which will be a shame because if he doesn't do something amazing soon he'll never get on a factory bike to challenge for wins; with the likes of Marquez, Espargaro, Redding, Iannone and loads more coming through Cal will soon be pretty old in the grand scheme of things.
