How much more "performance" will I get out of my bike? Thinking

Eh, I have them for pedalling and such, they're OK, but I find that merino is better for bike use. Or heck, both.

Looks like the Lidl sale starts on Thursday. For £25 will give them a try.

They used to be about a tenner a set, this set is about 18 quid, put it towards some merinos on sale.

These aren't that good a quality, or merino and imo are not worth more than 10 quid a set. Thumbs Up

Ski trousers look really thin, so didn't buy.

But I got the base layer top and bottoms, I did buy XL, but then realised how stretchy they were so changed them for L - hope they fit.

Also picked up a neck tube and a pair of socks whilst I was there. Got all that and my lunch for £27.

I'll see what they're like later.

Only Lidl is way away from me.

Guess I'll have to go the distance. Unless Aldi have anything similar.

I went into my local lidl on the way home from work and they only had XL & L left Sad

Going to try the other one close to me tomorrow but I'm guessing I won't have much luck. Sad

*Edit* Actually they are open till 8pm so I might pop down in a minute Smile

I got an old pair of the lidl/aldi ones, they are okay i suppose, i dont like the feel of the material and now wear the icebreaker merino leggings / top which is brilliant.

Well partial success. I got a top but no bottoms so I'm happy as its my top half which gets the coldest.

Just tried it on and with my fat belly I look like a sausage wrapped in a condom Laughing but it'll be hidden anyway so job jobbed Very Happy

I'll give it a proper try tomorrow.
