Getting pissed quickly

So say you're going out, all of your friends are already half drunk/drunk and you're completely sober. The taxi is coming in half an hour to pick you up and take you out. The less drunk you get pre-drinking, the more money you have to spend whilst out, or spend the night sober.

What do you pre-drink to get pissed quickly before the taxi arrives?

This isn't purely a hypothetical situation... if I end up going out I only usually have about half an hour to get from sober -> taxi so wondered if anyone had any decent suggestions Preferably nice drinks. Straight up vodka makes me feel sick.

Fucking brutal!Last time I had that I went from sober to slobbering mess within an houur, passed out in the bushes at a petrol station forecourt with no money AND was told I didn't even get in the club so fuck knows what happens.

I always used to find that a cheap quick method was to take a teaspoon, fill it with Woods 100proof rum and snort it. This will make your eyes water for the first few attempts!!!!!

I find wine very drinkable and a quick way to get going. A bottle of strong red wine goes down pretty easily

If you want to get mashed (I do not) try a vodka enima. The colon absorbs a lot quicker than the stomach. I knew a guy that did this frequently but died after deciding to inject gin into a main line.

Many years ago, when I was young (17) and foolish I was in this situation, turned up at my mate's house about 45 min before we were due to leave, after they had been drinking for a couple of hours.

My solution was to drink a half bottle of Southern Comfort in less than 20 minutes.

I can't remember leaving the house.

Apparently I was sick on the drive as we left, then sick on the bus ride into town - although I did at least ask the driver to pull over so I could vomit out of his doors.

I can't touch it anymore - makes me queasy at the thought.
