Aparently a number 4 on the top and 2 back and sides in Korea translates as 4mm & 2mm respectively.

Couple of weeks to wait now to get back to 'normal' length. Look like some kind of Neo Nazi!

I think it states the depth/height of cut in mm on the combs of some clippers...

So perhaps guy 'No do any ting long, and was infact, Do collect rike you ask faw.'

From my Wahl DIY hair clippers...
No. 2 = 6 mm, about 1/4 inch
No. 4 = 13 mm, about 1/2 inch

I thought the numbers were fractions of an inch all the way up to 8, so an 8 is one inch and a 1 is 1/8 of an inch.

Maybe their clippers come in metric. Smile

My clipper's heads are based on the inch thing, no8 is indeed an inch, which is what I use for mine.

I.e. he should have had hair (1/4-1/2 inch) 6-13mm long.

I DIY buzz cut / crew cut is my preferred option now.
We bought a set of Wahl clippers a few years ago, and I haven't bothered going to a barbers since.

Lol, though to be fair I didnt realise what I was paying for until afterwards!

Better value than UK, about 6.50 for cut, wash / shampoo and dry (I didnt ask for the wash and dry.. she just pushed me toward the chair...)
