Hi all,

thinking of selling my 1999 G2 ZX6R to fund one of those ex military cagiva 350's floating about at the moment.

At this time of year what do you think a 1999 G2 ZX6R in good nick, 6 month Mot would fetch?

cheers

John

need pictures, mileage and things like after market upgrades ect ect.

post detailed images of any damages and the overall condition then you will get a fairly accurate information.

otherwise, troll around ebay for similar and check the prices.

I've been trolling ebay ...

no detailed pics yet, but 32K miles, wheels need powder coating, hairline crack in rear seat (rolled into a wall backwards and slowly), only about 1500 miles on the tyres.
Mechanically , pretty near perfect, scorpion exhaust, tail tidy, braided lines etc.

Lots of paperwork and maintained like it was my baby!

If you really want a crash proof, ex military traily, go for one of the UK issue Armstrong/Harley Rotax bikes.

From what I can gather, they're much easier to get parts for and, last time I looked, they go for the same kind of money.

Be careful when buying ex military bikes, alot of people will assume they have been looked after to the highest standards, but the truth is, alot of military's hire out the maintainence side of things to the cheapest contractor

Your head is right. If thats what you want, buy something half decent, and just spray it military green...
