Hi All,

Does anyone have a Harpoon exhaust silencer and if yes are they very loud? I want to replace my beat up standard exhaust with something non standard but don't want to wake the nieghbours every time I start the bike.

Specifically looking at this one on ebay.

Do you think this would slot straight on or will I need jubilee clips and the like?

cheers
Straker

Looks like thats a slip on. Are you sure your bike is compatible with a slip on or do you need a bolt on? It says race can in the title so i imagine it will have no baffle so will be very fruity.

I wonder if it's worth the trouble getting baffle less racing can and replace a whole can for an MOT? Neutral

Powertech makes cans for very good money. E marked with removable baffle.

I have 1 for my Suzuki VanVan. Sounds very good, bit loud and road legal. Didn't like the sound without baffle - too much.

Your CBR600 will be a cut the pipe and slide new on and clamp it job.

I had a CBR can on the Thundercat, looks far nicer.
