Underwear under compression leggings?

This could sound very ghey, made worse by the fact I'm sitting on the toilet right now typing from my tablet. Just bought some thermal compression leggings to go under my leathers. I had to buy compression fit because normal leggings are too bulky (race fit leathers). To those that wear compressions, do you wear underwear under them? I tried it with boxers but they ride up and it gets uncomfortable. I'm just thinking if I go commando and have an off and get my leathers and compressions cut off me...

personally i dont wear underwear under my base layers.. as you say they just get in the way

Well, considering you're going to wear the base layers for several days in a row, I'd imagine under-underwear is kinda mandatory.

Maybe that's just me.

I bought some compression base layers a couple months ago, i find that when you have pulled the trousers up, pull the waist band out and tuck your boxers back down again, the compression layer will keep them in place.

Tried it with trunk style boxers too when i realised normal boxers rise up but the problem is exactly the same. Just put your hand in them and fold the boxers back down

Commando all the way. If you're away for a few days just wash them in the sink at night - they dry really quick so you can start 'clean' (ish) the day after.

Unless new materials have it otherwise, you might find that you need an "air layer" between thermals and leathers to get the most benefit out of them.
