Are you sure it's petrol? It could be just water splashed from the road. Smell it. ____________________ CBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11

T'intardtubes suggest that it's a simply gravity feed, there's no prime on the tap.
First thing to do is call the place that you bought it from, don't ride it if it's pissing fuel!
On my Chinese bike-in-box, some cretin ( ) connected the fuel and breather lines to the carb the wrong way round, with the result that fuel merrily gushed out. However, that happened as soon as the tap was turned on.
OK, the fuel gauge is likely to be be lying, I'd ignore it. How high up are you filling it before it leaks? I mean, look inside into the filler, see if the fuel level is anywhere near the mouth of it. That's what the dealer is going to ask. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
