My trip to Abu Dhabi for the F1 - pic intensive

I was extremely fortunate recently in that I was given a free South Grandstand pass to the F1 at Yas Marina for the whole weekend! Very Happy

So, all that left was for me to do was pay for a flight over to UAE and have a great time Very Happy

It all boiled down to these little beauties:

Unfortunately we couldn't make it there for the Thursday pit walk Sad

But there was still plenty to see on the Friday and Saturday before the Sunday race, as they also had the Aussie V8 Supercars running! And they are EPIC Very Happy

Nickelback followed on the Saturday night, and Emineminem on the Sunday - all free of charge to ticket holders; nice little added bonus Smile

Of course the main event was the F1 - and I can honestly say I wasn't bored at all watching even the practice sessions, it's worth it for the noise alone!

The way they come down through the box and the noise it brings is nothing short of superb.

Looks an awesome weekend, I'd love to visit that track one day, it looks amazing.

You lucky bugger! I went to Silverstone when they were V10s, you can't imagine the noise until you actually see them. Looks like a brilliant weekend.
