I'm picking up my new bandit tomorrow. I live near Leeds Bradford airport. Any tips on where to take it to stretch its legs?

Dales is the obvious choice, but generally find they're more suited to smaller bikes, with loads of really tight twisty stuff.

Moors are a bit more 'open plan' for faster free flowing stuff.

Is this your first big bike?
If so, something I've found over the last two weeks with my SV is that slow speed and slow speed cornering is hard to transition from my 125.
Take time to get used to the weight and turning circle of your bandit. With my YBR I could literally coast at slow speed with near no throttle input. With the SV and I assume any larger bike, if your not giving it some revs it becomes a dead weight.
Enjoy Thumbs Up

Realised I'm in general chat not new riders ....
Go find some twisties Mr. Green

It my first big bike yes. I have a YBR as well. I found when doing lessons on the big bike that for the first 20 mins I would go wide on corners because of the weight. So I'll remember that tomorrow. Think I might be a tad nervous at first so might just take it easy. Or I could head to Kirkby longs dale!

Take it out Otley way, through Pool in Wharfedale, head out to Harrogate and hang a left towards Fewston, go along there and go right down by the resevoir. Up the other side and go in the first pub you see on the right after the top (can't remeber its name but biker friendly). Good roads, nice day tomorrow, good ale.

The fun is finding the routes you like to ride - not some bloke from the internet telling you where to ride.

Or sometimes the fun is in spending two hours riding amazing roads, when someone else spent twenty hours riding boring roads before they found the amazing ones Wink.

I haven't been out on any decent rides on my new bike yet because I've either been at work or the weathers been shite.
Hopefully I'll get the chance to have a spin dahn ta Saaaahfend with my mate on his GSXF in the near future (if he can keep up). Thumbs Up
