It is terrible when you have a free weekend, want to go and ride off road and you see this Evil or Very Mad

And you know the next day will be just mud. So it is battle for short distances or ride tar Sad

I dont mind rain when riding tar. But it limits you off road. Speeds drop to well under 20 kmh and falls are not if but when.

No man! mud is ok for a bit, but not like 400 km of it! anything less than 300 km isnt a ride, but a jollie patrollie.

Off roading is about scenery, technical riding, some mud, some sand, ruts, potholes, corrugation, thirst, heat, dust er well misery Mr. Green But at least variety in the misery Mr. Green

Learn to embrace the mud.

It's not just about distance, unless you're riding purely to tick boxes Wink.

My first enduro was done on a silly wet course - quite a bit was foot+ deep mud. The 690 with a trials tyre on the rear did really well considering a lot of people on proper enduro bikes were dropping out - high gearing + thumper gives decent traction.
