And you know the next day will be just mud. So it is battle for short distances or ride tar

Learn to embrace the mud.

It's not just about distance, unless you're riding purely to tick boxes .

My first enduro was done on a silly wet course - quite a bit was foot+ deep mud. The 690 with a trials tyre on the rear did really well considering a lot of people on proper enduro bikes were dropping out - high gearing + thumper gives decent traction.
