We were 14. Outside the local supermarket (no idea why) late one night, i was drunk on White Lightening cider.

The girls were getting pissed on a huge bottle of Malibu. Next thing we know 2 coppers stroll up and grab the bottle, give us the usual speil and then pour it down the drain.

At this point my mate Phil jumps on him, shouting "You fucking pig scum!!"
Fair play for a 14 yr old he gave the copper some stick.
Always makes me chuckle.

Anyway, to the OP. I dunno, i could never stand the stuff.
(Didnt stop me drinking it till i was sick though )

I first drank malibu in Portugal when I was around 18 and when I came back I ordered a malibu & coke at the bar, I was informed by my horrified mate that it was a poofs drink, I asked around and sure enough it was, it never felt right ordering it again

Another one I used to drink was criminally alcoholic - one shot each of Kahlua, Tia Maria, Baileys and Cointreau, on ice. Don't see Kahlua in this country very often, but its a dark, coffee liqueur. Mixed with the chocolate of Tia Maria, the cream of Baileys and the citrus of Cointreau, it just went down so easy, though you knew damn well it would wipe you out.

The nightclub I worked at used to sell things called shooters, which were presented in a test tube. The most popular one was a house invention myself and another barman came up with, called Sexual Chocolate.

Kahlua, then Creme de Menthe, then white Creme de Cacao, followed by Tia Maria, then a button of Baileys on top.

All these liqueurs in the right order and when done with care will float on top of each other because of the relative density of each liquid, so when its done properly it looks fantastic.

Drinking it is like drinking an after dinner mint- no sense of alcohol, just this shot of flavour. Really nice.
