got a scorpion set (factory fitted) on my vivaro, they get right on my tits! I used to have a reversing camera on the ducato, It was mounted up high above the rear doors, a fantastic bit of kit as you could scare the shit out of people backing within an inch of their bumpers |

The kits work fine - if they are set up right.
Mrs C drives an old 406 estate, and I put a set on the back of that, setting them so that the face of them is vertical, which required a bit of building up at the back of them due to the curve of the bumper. You also need to make sure there is space behind the bumper to accommodate the depth - the ideal position was obscured by the steel bar that fits behind the plastic to give the bumper strength.
Having spend ages getting them set, filling and painting them, with the amount of crap she lugs about in the boot, they beep at the slightest bump in the road - the 25mm upstand between the road and the footway when reversing into the drive is enough to set them off.
The set that I put on my Avensis were fine - it is down the the installation. Both sets were £15 off fleabay.
If you can stretch to a camera - I'd go that route. ____________________ '82 C50, '81 CB100, '84 GS125, '95 NTV650, '00 Bandit 600, '06 SV650, '56 Z1000, '89 NTV600
