Shell 2T premix oil.

Has anyone tried the Advance Scooter semi-synthetic oil?.
It´s more expensive than the SX i´ve been using but is more readliy available?.
VSX is the kiddy but i don´t go over 10K revs so Kings in Oxford don´t reckon i need it.

if your running a 50cc cheap semi-sysfectic 2-stroke oil is fine, performace 250cc+ bikes should always be run on fully sysnfectic 2-stroke oil (castrol TTS,R2 / Rock oil/ etc). it real depends on how well you want to look after the engine. theres hundreds of threads you can find with the search fuction that will explain in much more detail.


l found this site a few weeks ago that sell semi-sysfectic oil (SX and VSX) cheap in bulk.

you don't go over 10000rpm??
I try not to let mine rev off the clock!
Bloody thing used to do 12000rpm in every gear until I put a bigger front sprocket on it.

Seriously though, 10 grand is nothing to a 50cc, any half decent (£5 a litre) oil will do if you're holding her back that much.
