so, my partner has hinted at wanting to try riding a motorcycle,
theres a carpark nearby (walking distance) thats down a slope so is below the main road and cant be seem from said road,
wondering if it'd be worth taking the bike and partner there and letting him have a jaunt around the car park on it?
tried that "get on" website but never heard back from the idiots who run that center and its a pain in the ass to get to.
obviously, no provi, but the bike is insured.
just wondering if its a good/bad idea?
i mean, if you dont hear back about the free official methods of trying it out, then what else are you left with? paying out £120 to find out you dont like riding?
kind of a big loss really, money and time wise.
who else has done the same thing for their partners/family? ____________________ BCF's biggest cunt list: Cansa, Pits, Rob |

Do you mind having the bike dropped, parts being broken or him getting hurt if not then go for it. Assume the worst until he has got the controls. ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

Win.
EDIT: On topic.
If its just a shitty chinese 125, then yeah might aswell. Most likely it will be fine, on the off chance that he drops it you'll have scratches and scrapes on the bike, maybe a broken mirror or footpeg.
But theres not much that can really go wrong on a bike as light as a 125.
When my friend bought his 125 (before either of us has a license or a CBT) I hopped on it and just rode it up and down the road, i was naturally good at it. Then took to showing my friend the basics. Nothing went wrong.
Its a judgement call.
TL;DR - yeah, just do it.
