Hi have recently bought a Katana, as above, does anyone know where we can get a workshop manual please?

We also have a low power problem, we had the piston replaced and re bore done, but still same problem, hope someone can help.

Many thanks

Doesn't look like the best one but there are loads more if you look.

Or of course there's eBay.

A friend of mine had an AY50 (not a real katana I hasten to add!). It was a dreadful thing. We did a total of about 5 rebuilds on it before he decided he'd finally had enough of it and gave up.

One major tip, the fuel tank is really badly held it. If you remove the tail tidy the fuel tank will fall out. Ask how I know.

Your post isn't hugely descriptive of the issue, perhaps you could try to give us a bit of a more in depth description of the problem.

Where abouts in the UK are you? If you're nearby I can probably take a look at it at some point.

You'll want the Haynes manual for scooters.

Yes, it is a bit general, but most scooter designs are pretty much the same anyway.

It has wiring diagrams and torque values specifically for the AY50.

Used one when I had my old katana and it helped.

This is a Katana:

This is an AY50:

Why they added Katana on the end I don't know, but one thing I do know is that an AY50 is not a Katana Wink
