It still has two very weak points, the padlock and hasp. I doubt it would take more than a couple of minutes to open it.

Yep, really wants locks on it which are housed internally, the kind you get on gun safes where the bolt is protected and the lock mechanism is behind another thick plate to stop it being drilled.

To me, it looks just like a normal tool/fuel storage unit much like you see on building sites, and like we have at work.

There also seems to be a lot of "we think, we believe" and the statement "built to insurance standards" seems a strange one - what standard is there for keeping a bike in a metal box? Does it have a British Standard or Thatcham category then?

But ignoring all that, if you had the space it may be a good place to keep a bike, but I bet it suffers badly from condensation much like all steel boxes. Thumbs Up

You would be better off buying a 10ft shipping container.

They make great condensation generators - perfect place to keep your pride and joy!

That 'bike bunker' has been up for sale for months and months. I found it when looking for security for the garage in a dodgy area I rent.

My mate bought a 24ft one in decent condition for about £1200 delivered. He fits all his tools etc at the back, and keeps his Gixer and his KTM at the front.

It has 3 locks on the front which are covered buy the container so only the key is touchable...

He has no problems with condensation...

Especially built for a bike designer, last one remaining.

Looks like an oil oil tank with a door on the front.
