Catch one of them, then break his arms, legs, ankles wrists, ribs, jaw, teeth, fingers, toes, and elbows.
Then leave him where the others can find him as awarning.
Aledgedly!
Oh wait! that means YOU will get arrested and the police Will take an interest
Of course if when they climbed over your fence, they were faced with lots of old jagged metal and broken bottles lying on the ground, that would be sad . ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |

Build a wall and top it with mortar, broken glass and rat's piss. If they're on the take then give them Weil's disease.
| Quote: | Symptoms can occur between 3 and 21 days from the time of infection. There can be two distinct phases of leptospirosis.
The first phase:
* Symptoms are similar to those of the flu, including high fever, severe headache, chills, muscle aches, and vomiting, and may also include a rash.
* May last between 3 to 5 days before recovery.
* In mild cases the patient will recover after just the first phase but they can suffer fatigue and depression for some time afterwards.
The second phase:
* Initial symptoms will reoccur.
* Further symptoms can vary according to severity and may include jaundice (yellow skin and eyes), red eyes, abdominal pain, and diarrhoea.
* Symptoms can be similar to those of meningitis.
* Severe cases can also cause the failure of kidneys or liver.
* Death can occur due to heart, liver or respiratory failure.

Get yourself a dog. Failing that replace the anti vandal paint with dog crap. Won't stop them but they will think 'shit' i'm not going there again. ____________________ Current stable: Yamaha XVS 650 1996 - Honda Super Magna VF750 1988. |

Some good ideas there, and some of which are very tempting, the police did try to do something caught one of the little darlings red handed. They prosecuted but the courts gave him far too lenient a sentence he had to go to weekly meetings with his mother and they wanted me to go with them. Told them no chance, as i was too busy being a parent to my own children and i thought it was a complete waste of time.
The kid is 12-13 and they have arrested him more than 20 times mostly for burglary but also he mugged 2 old ladies sadly the old ladies were too scared to go to court. His mother doesn't care she lets him do what he wants he speaks to her like she is nothing. He is totally out of control hes been expelled from every school around here and no school will take him, and he hangs around with another bunch of kids from a family whos mother is ex baghead her BF is a baghead currently in prison for burglary and shoplifting, theres like 13 kids in the family all different fathers and they dont care what they do.
Have to be careful what i put on my side of the fence as i have 2 little boys one who is autistic and one who climbs like a monkey, and not sure if its against the law to put up razor wire or such even on my side of the fence.
I have a spare PC so its not an issue, the garden is 12m long 20m wide. I have about £300-400 to spend on a system, i need something that i can go back to and see who it was. Need a camera that is going to be clear enough to see who is doing this, and be able to either print off pictures or copy files to give to the police. ____________________ The only exercise some people get is jumping to conclusions, running down their friends, side-stepping responsibility, and pushing their luck!

What's important with a CCTV system is that it is admissable as evidence.
So, if it overlooks anyone elses property or a public place, you need warning signs up at each entrance to the property, covert cameras are a no-go.
You also need a time and date stamp embedded in the image and you would need to keep the original image, as it was recorded, the entirety of which would need to be made available to the defence. You need to keep a log of when you checked the time and date stamp.
We fell foul of this at work. The boss caught an employee with her fingers in the till using a covert CCTV camera hidden in a mouse (it was in his private office where the staff are not normally allowed). Clear and identifiable images of her opening his drawer, taking bundles of £20 notes out and sticking them up her sleeve.
The police told him that he was totally within his rights to sack her on the spot but that the images would not be admissable in court because they were recorded covertly and had no time and date stamp. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. Keep phoning the Police every time. If you get CCTV even better. Eventuality the courts will run out of easy stuff (if anyone mentions Restorical Justice, run a mile! (although was that meeting you were asked to attend called that?)). ____________________ Snow rider wrote: I'm far to annoying to be near for long periods of time |

From what I gather there are other issues with CCTV apart from those flagged by others above about admissible as evidence.
The kit has to be very good, read expensive, for the quality to identify individuals to be good enough. A blurry image of someone in a hoody is normally what you get. The basic kit can tell you something has happened (and when_ but id is difficult. Also IR night time kit is also limited.
For night recording I did come across a PIR triggered light that also had a camera that recorded when triggered. Think it recorded to memory card. Not cheap though but I thought a good idea. Not sure about access to the card though and how much could be recorded/saved. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...
