My low fuel light doesn't work on my Aprilia Pegaso, the wiring is fine but the bulb holder is fubar. When the tank is next low I'm going to remove the tap and sensor to and see if I can fix that, but in the meantime where on earth do I get a smaller one of these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SCOOTER-MOPED-PARKING-LIGHT-UNIT-12V-BULB-PUSH-FIT-NEW-/120566386599

The hole I have is 8mm in diameter and it takes a R286 bulb and I just can't find anything.

Aprilia only appear to sell the whole cable (#18 on this page)
https://www.apriliagenuineparts.co.uk/component-pegaso-650-1992-1996-handlebar-controls-1940.php
and it's a few pence short of a million pounds, so I obviously just want to replace the single broken rubber push fit bulb holder.

Help please!

Your link shows a T10. I believe what you need is a T5 bulb holder, which is its smaller brother.
