I bought this bike a couple of years ago with a dead engine, with the idea that I could drop in a spare engine and Snowie could use it as an every-day bike, while she was restoring her own. But, after inspection, it was 'too-nice' and 'too-original' to mugger around with, and wanted to do it a bit more contientiousely and preserve what orginality I could. So it's just had a complete mechanical overhaul, and a top end engine rebuild, and passed MOT today (15/11/12), first time, no advisaries, and is for sale, basically so I can do another!

Machine is quarter of a century old, and NOT, repeat NOT, 'restored' to concourse cosmetic standard; on a younger bike we could call the odd blemish or skuff 'wear & tear' but this is a 'classic', & I preffer to call it 'the Patina of Use'!

It has a reclaimed Motad 2 in-to 1 exhaust fitted, replacing rotted out original twin-pipes.

There is slight skuff to the chrome at the end of the silencer,

And one of the down-pipes has had a pin-hole welded.
