BBC fail once again, what the hell are the license fees going towards?!

oh, right....gold lined pockets and bently's that look like armoured cars.

i still dont understand how the government can justify allowing the BBC to charge over £125 a year when barely anyone pays them the blindest bit of attention.

nice post rogerborg.

seriously? havent paid for one in ages as we done have an incoming tv signal.

gets checked over by the license thieves that visit your home.

if the dog doesnt make em run a mile then i'll just go, "look, no tv signal" they dont even bother to check your internet connection

You're allowed to watch internet tv without a licence, just not live.

I don't think that's true. Oh look it seems you're right, I'm sure I've been asked if I have a license before when playing stuff back on iplayer!

Complete tosh Smile Not watching live tv, don't need a licence. Doesn't matter what anyone tries to tell you, even the BBC, that's what it boils down to. Further more if someone comes over to "check" your home, unless they have a warrant from the courts tell them to do one.

Off topic I agree but nevermind Smile

Wrong.

"Any device capable of receiving live TV"
Then you tick "I do not watch live TV/I only watch on demand programmes like iPlayer"

Something like that, not had them knocking at my door to prove it yet

And yes rogerborg, but your 'article' was lulz and well stated, so Thumbs Up

From TV Licence website...........

Quote:

A reminder of the law
The law states that you need to be covered by a TV Licence if you watch or record television programmes, on any device, as they're being shown on TV. This includes TVs, computers, mobile phones, games consoles, digital boxes and Blu-ray/DVD/VHS recorders.
You don't need a licence if you don't use any of these devices to watch or record television programmes as they're being shown on TV - for example, if you use your TV only to watch DVDs or play video games, or you only watch ‘catch up’ services like BBC iPlayer or 4oD.
