Ahhh, it's been a long night out in the garage. I started to fix my bike today.
Arrow Fixed the front fairing, the art of plastic welding. I'm well impressed with the job i did at it considering it was my first time.
Arrow Bent back the thingy that the clocks bolt onto.
Arrow Tried to fix my screen brace, it's alot harder than it looked and it looked bloody hard. Rolling Eyes
Arrow Bent back gear lever only for it to SNAP OFF. Mad Mad
Arrow Fixed the front brake resivoir.

What i have left to do:
Arrow Get/attach a new screen.
Arrow Get/attach new clocks.
Arrow Bleed the brakes.
Arrow Go punch the woman who pulled into me. Mad

Nice one pal good to see you having a go yourself! How exactly did you go about doing the plastic welding?

Unlucky on the gear changer front mate, did you heat it up before you started bending? Sounds like the kind of thing that happens to me, you know bend it back think it looks good, maybe a bit more.... snap!

Well with the plastic welding i took some advice i got off here:

Clamped the 2 bits of the fairing together and ran the soldering iron down the inside, this bonded the 2 parts together and you couldnt see it from the front.
I then did the same at the front so now I had the fairing stuck back together.
I used cable ties to fill in the cracks and rebuild missing bits of fairing. After i got the basic shape i sanded it down and gradually got to finer paper. Looks good, You can see a faint line but to touch there is nothing.
