I'm thinking of restoring a Honda Hornet but it has a slightly twisted frame. The wheels look a bit like this from the front:

\ <---Rear
/ <---Front

Shit explaination? Hope you get the picture.

Anyway...how easy would it be to straighten it myself?

Or would it just be easier to find a new one? A quick eBay search found this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/99-CB600-HORNET-frame-chassis-c-w-engine-CBR600-V5-logbook-straight-undamaged-/121021412405?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item1c2d703435

But why would anyone break a perfectly good bike? Not sure if its suspicious or not?

Cheer.

Its a bike breakers .so I wouldn't worry and that looks cheap. But you'll have to look how far away they are from you.

You can't really straighten the frame if its been hit hard enough to bend it .You really need to put it on a jig. That will cost about 150quid ish.

There are places that straighten frames, but it probably wouldn't be cheaper than buying a second hand one.

Do consider that if you change a frame, you aren't so much changing the frame on your old bike as changing everything other than the frame on a "new" bike. The identity stays with the frame, so you'd need one with a V5 and you'd be getting (as far as DVLA is concerned) a new bike.
