That aside, it's a bloody excellent backdrop...

Probably because the only 3 bikes that every girl knows are "A Ducatti", "A Ninja" and "A Harley Davidson".

Can just imagine the guy in a club picking up girls:
"Oh you ride a bike, what is it?"
"It's a Honda CBR600RR"
"A what?"
"Erm... you know the Ninja?"
"Oh I love the Ninja!"
"Okay, erm, it's the Ninja. I'll show you, it says it on the side and everything"

The one I linked in the first post is from 600rr.net, and is done in "Lambo green". No sure about it myself, looks a bit Asda green Laughing

Besides the ninja stickers, I think that looks fantastic!

But agree with the rest, as soon as I say I have a ninja, people are quite impressed.

Clunge, you say? My GPZ500 was sold as a "Ninja" to the Yanks, it'd be legit to sticker it as such. Razz

As to the OP's question: puckish mischief. Got your attention, didn't it?

Same with my er6f. It's a commuter, but for a while I wanted to replace the decals to the Yankee 650r ones to stop people asking what it was.

I then thought I'd get too much jip on here if I'd done that!

Dunno about other people's oppinion of this but i don't really like the word 'ninja' and get a bit wound up when people ask what is it and i say a kawa zx6r and they reply 'oh a ninja?' sounds a little tacky ha!

Maybe i shouldn't have bought a Zx6r i guess but it was too good a deal to pass up!

*awaits karma bashing*

Does it perhaps say something in smaller text underneath the word "ninja"?

Perhaps something along the lines of "ninja killer, ninja eater/destroyer/mauler" that sort of bravado based mockery.

It could just be underlined of course. My eyesight isn't great.

Totally agree and I ride a bright green ZX9R.

Anyone who calls a bike a "ninja" normally doesn't have a clue about bikes. It seems to be a marketing thing to attract mouthbreathers and americans.

Maybe -- reversing the psychology here -- this picture is what all Ninja owners wish they rode? Cool

He got a bit of stick on 600rr.net for it. There was some comment about removing the "blasphemous" sticker. Laughing

Except for the blue waters of the lake and green foliage, where it seems to work quite well?

Ah yes!

"Oh, my [insert friend's/relative's name here] used to ride too!"
"Oh really? What did they have?"
"A Yamaha Fireblade or something. It did like 200mph. Does yours do 200mph?"
