Found a great dog lead, but want to change the clip thing on the end, i can cut it off, but how do you attach a larger newer one

depends what the lead is made of. Either melt it on the stove if it's nylon, or get a rope splicer to splice the eye if it's a proper rope lead.

Without seeing the end hard to say. Could you not use a large split ring to join lead and new clip.

Good idea, would have to be a large one, larger than the biggest ones i bought for my keys tother week.

Have tried caribeeners, but somehow dog gets off lead on them.
