Starting up an old, pretty standard, topic. Failed MOD2 for the 2nd time today - 1 silly "serious" mistake in the first 5 mins on each. Not petty enough to bother argue them since they were both fair, kind of knew I had failed on each but tried to stay optimistic throughout the rest of the test. 1st - not indicating right at an exit to a roadabout at 1 o'clock. 2nd - starting to change lane to exit a dual-carriageway (after relevant checks), and then backing out when I saw a van coming up fast.
I am hoping I'm not the only one to be in this situation, despite feeling like throwing in the towel, I have booked up for a 3rd attempt.
I am very aware of the up and coming deadline on the 19th January, and feeling really rather disheartened. Under instruction, instructors seemed shocked that i failed again (not sure if this is them just being nice), and on my lesson yesterday the instructor literally had nothing to say.
Any advice would be much appreciated. And if anyone has any comment of Gateshead Test Centre vs. Darlington - please let me know!

Just keep plugging at it. I failed Mod 2 twice. Passed the 3rd time. ____________________ illuminateTHEmind wrote: I am just more evolved than most of you guys... this allows me to pick of things quickly which would have normally taken the common man years to master

Presumably you mean that you didn't indicate left before exiting a roundabout. I didn't really understand what your saying you got wrong on the dual carriageway.
Anyhow, I have my Mod2 next week and I'm quite bervous about it, not so much the test but how shit I will feel if I don't pass. That feeling made all the worse knowing Jan 19th is creeping up.
The way I'm looking at it is. Even if I end up having to take more tests and going past the Jan 19th watershed. Its ok really as I would have been intending to get some lessons in the future before buying a bigger bike so in time and cost it all works out kind of the same. Just nobody likes being "tested" but its only an hour out of your life when all is said and done.
Do well next time you will |
