I need to get a rough idea of some quotes for a couple of bikes I'm considering getting, if the insurance is cheap enough..Can I have a few links to some online quote sites, other than bennetts please?

Let it be known, online quotes vary WILDLY and can be out by £300 or more than if you were to do it by phone Smile

online quotes are genrally a lot higher than propper quotes. Get yourself a bike mag and phone a couple of companys. Doesnt matter if you dont have the bike, just tell them you are investergating insurance prices before you buy a bike.

Bloody insurance, just had a Saturday morning wasted which I will never be able to get back again Crying or Very sad Shocked

Although I thought it was easier before to go online, it probably is quicker to use the phone. This morning I used the insurance pages from MCN to get the quote. Phoned around about ten or so and got the quote in at £414 plus £35 breakdown cover which was'nt bad. The first few I rang around were qouting around the £460 mark so with a wee bit of perserverance you can get it cheaper. The bloke from carole Nash I spoke to was a tw*t though. Basically explained to him that I have to phone around to get a few more qoutes and he comes out with the crap "well I'm not just here to give qoutes all day" in an arsy voice. Safe to say i did'nt go back there...

After insuring my busa, I decided to have a little play around with insurance quotes, bennetts wanted almost the same amount of money off me to insure an RS125 that motorcycledirect.co.uk wanted for my busa. Although they were cheaper on my GPZ550.
