Look what Goose happened upon this evening... muggins in RiDE magazine once again. It's part of the '80 Things To Do For Under £100' feature, #43 being to 'Run What Ya Brung'. Smile

It is indeed, it's a pic from the RiDE CBR600 day a few months back that me and Laura went to.

I didn't get on fantastically actually, I think bang on 12 seconds was my best that day, and I've done better than that in the past at Elvington. Was a good laugh though. Smile

I had a couple of runs there. There's something unnerving about sitting on the line, waiting for the lights (which seem to take ages!) whilst there's a hundred or so people watching you. I tried to take it easy my first go... so I stalled it, and then wheelied! Embarassed

My first ever time at Santa Pod was on a very cold January day when it had been raining. I was on a CB500, cold tyres, cold strip... there's a video floating around somewhere on here of me going forwards about a foot and then 90 degrees sideways. Embarassed
