Something looks different this afternoon.

Passed my mod 2 this afternoon with 5 minors at Chester. The weather was piss and I rode the worst I had in a long time. I got marked down for positioning at lights and junctions, moving away, rear observation when changing direction and signalling.

There were a few times that I thought I had failed, including when I was on the independent riding section and had to follow signs on a dual carriageway. Ended up trying to leave at Highways Agency site and had to stop pulling over and merge back into the main carriageway, after performing a life saver and using my indicators Embarassed

Anyway a pass is a pass and I am over the moon to have bested the Euro Zone and got my full licence before the new regs take effect.

Thumbs Up Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Thumbs Up

Yeah its been a good a steed and helped immensely, I was planning to message you and let you know but I needn't bother.

Wasn't fun having the earth wire from the headlight fall out on the way to Chester and having to stop at the local dealership to borrow a screwdriver and bodge it back in. It stayed put until halfway through the test and came out again so I just kept my sidelight on, glad the examiner didn't notice as he was behind me Laughing

Sill need to properly sort the electrics out but at least I am not working against important deadlines now Smile

Almost forgot to mention, this was my second booking for my mod 2, I was meant to take it at Shrewsbury last Thursday but got my times mixed up and missed it completely. I thought I was taking it in the afternoon whereas in fact it was for 8:40 am. Had to quickly ring the DSA and book another one pronto, because I hadn't failed and the test hadn't gone ahead I thankfully did not have to wait 10 days before re-booking, although I did lose my £75 test fee Evil or Very Mad

Now that is out of the way, the real learning/fun begins Razz

If you had just posted the picture I was going to say you'd installed a side stand, passing your test would've been nearly as good.

Congrats mate, no feeling better than ripping those L plates off.
