I have recently got my hands on an Aprilia Tuono and been having a few problems.

I have put together a few vids of the journey in the workshop.

Thought I might share them.

In this video I start the bike for the first time. Yipee. Don't get too excited!!

In this one, I run out of fuel on the first ride and have to push it to the petrol station. It the won't start. A little amusement value.

This one, I show the issue I am having with starting.

In this one I demonstrate how to change a starter solenoid. Some educational value.

*sobs* anyway.............

How you finding it?

What plans you got for it?

Have you checked the exhaust studs/nuts? Back ones (under seat) should be fine. On the front check the right-hand one at the bottom.
All of mine were fine apart from that one which had seen much better days. Due to the positioning of the cover between the two radiators, it gets hit the worst.

Akra's sound quiet Wink

What you want is Aprilia Titanium Race cans off an early Mille if you can find one:

*Edit* Heard you mention the back brake problem. Danmoto do rearsets which means the master cylinder is moved behind the heel plate instead of being next to the engine. It will stop the brake fluid being boiled and causing the squishyness.

Sorry for your loss. Sad

Loving it so far. Not done much mileage on it as I have been servicing it here and there.

I'll check out the studs. Cheers Thumbs Up

Akras, quiet? wtf!! lol I'll pop out and do a flyby video. I haven't been able to open the throttle out side the house as I'm too polite.

A lot has been done already.
*Ohlins rear shock,
*oz wheels,
*PC3
*carbon bits here and and there.

I am planning the following over the next year (skint now lol)

*Aprilia Performance rear sets, soon (supporting local produce and all)
*Ohlins forks and appropriate yokes
*More carbon bits

I might mess with the gearing too although it may have already been messed with as its not as snatchy around town as I have been led to believe.
