Projector headlight?

Just wondering if anyone had had any experience with these Projector lights, and know if they are any good?

I have had an HID kit sitting around for a couple weeks that i originally bought to fit on my hornet, i have however heard that on standard headlight reflectors, HID kits aren't to great, i knew this before buying the kit but i got it as new old stock for £16 inc. delivery so...

Just want to light up the road a bit better!

Have also heard that bulbs like Osram night breakers are pretty good?

Dunno about the projector lights but I put a pair of nightbreakers in the cage and they made an appreciable difference.

How much of that is down to the fact they are new bulbs (old ones were year and a half old / 40,000 miles) or the technology in the bulbs, I cant say, but for £13/pair off fleabay, I cant complain.

projector lights are comparatively crap, bike manufacturers only used them as it was fashionable at the time, that's why you don't see them fitted these days to new bikes

At that price I'd expect them to be at least half decent, but you'll get much more performance from a proper reflector IMHO.

If you already have that style of light, try adding some driving lights, but put them on a relay circuit to prevent voltage drop which will rob you of light.

Don't HID's not rely on reflectors?

HID's do have a reflector but also a projector lens with a metal shield to form the beam pattern.
