last bit of advise before test!

got my thoery in 2 hours, if i pass i will be doing my test next week...theres is one thing i dont understand, having revised it all day, i know what the signs are, but what actually is contraflow?

Doubtful you'll get a question on it, but...

(Am probably wrong, speaking from memory, not the highway code!) It's the system where oncoming traffic on a dual carriageway is filtered onto your side of the road. Usually in roadworks/accidents etc.

Anyone else?

You know on motorways when they do roadworks. You sometimes get directed on to the opposite carriageway and you are separated from the oncoming traffic by cones?

That's a contraflow system in practice, there's probably other examples, I just can't think of any! Laughing
