Hey everyone,
A question for you all about having a fully stamped service history book, is it a good thing to have a stamp in your book, or is it a good thing to do it yourself.....?
When I've come to sell bikes to garages or private, it's always the first thing I'm asked, and then used as a bargaining tool to knock off money off my asking price....
It would be really good to hear your opinions, and story's on this

I'd say less than 3 years old, then it's probably relevent. Else, many owners do their own service. When buying, I always ask what servicing it's had, and if there are any receipts to back it up. Then I do my own service as soon as I've bought it, as I'm a suspicious bastard Very Happy

As above, if it's a new machine then it'll make a difference to price. Heaven knows why - there's no guarantee a dealer or pro garage are going to do a decent job of a service. On an older machine then it's just chancers wanting to save a few quid.
